Maternity Cover Youth Minster:

St Matthew’s and The Minster is a growing Anglican Evangelical church in the town centre of Cheltenham. Our vision is to be Passionate about Jesus.

Are you passionate about supporting and developing young people as they come to know Christ and grow in faith? We are looking for someone to cover the post of our current Youth Minister while she is on maternity leave and to build on the work she has done in growing and nurturing our young people.

The Youth Minister is an important member of the staff at St Matthew’s and the Minster with responsibility for ensuring best practice in all areas of our youth work, evangelism, discipleship and outreach amongst those aged 11-18. The role also includes enabling and equipping a team of volunteers.

You will need to have a personal Christian faith and a desire to invest in the lives of young people so that they come to know and grow in Christ, and be able to connect with young people: large and small groups, and individuals.
